and Welcome
I am a freelance photographer based in Looeyville, Lou-vul, Looavule, Keeeeentuckie. Yep-Derby City, Louisville, Kentucky, the location of the richest 2 minutes in sports. I have the pleasure to work very closely with the Thoroughbred industry and with Churchill Downs.
My strong love for adventure, outdoors, and animals, has leaded me to assignments with a variety of travel, agriculture and equine publications. Along with supplying images to magazine publications I also supply images to many textbook publishers. Yep, remember those textbooks? Those pictures in those books come from businesses like mine.
I have studio in the back part of my property. The studio space is for the portrait and wedding side of my business. With this part of my business it is good thing that I am a “people person” too. I have worked as a counselor and teacher and received my masters in counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout way back when the US Hockey Team won the Olympics.
High on my love list: Photography of course, my family (scattered in TX, WI, MN), my wonderful friends, dog kisses from Collies and Labs, camping and kayaking, and my favorite pig out food-Nachos and jalapenos with all the trimmings.
Things I just don’t get: fashion designers, software tech people, and cell phone manuals.
